Advantages and Disadvantages of Bleaching
Every person must dream to have sweet smile with the white shiny teeth. To have such thing, many people are doing tooth whitening or bleaching. What are advantages and disadvantages of bleaching? Bleaching is usually done to eliminate dull color on teeth due to food scraps such as coffee, chocolate, cigarettes, drugs, or also a color change due to the changes of the teeth structure.
Advantages, dark or dull teeth can be cleaned in such a short time (from 4-5 days to three or four weeks). Increase confidence and other positive psychological effects. A person can control the level of teeth whiteness.
Disadvantages, people need to use whitening substance (bleaching trays) for six to eight hours a day to gain maximum effect. On the other hand, a chemical substance which is used to whiten the teeth can change the taste perception and disturb our digestion. Frequent bleaching can cause teeth hypersensitivity, soft tissues irritation, sore throat, difficulty to chew.
Bleaching can also be addicted. Ivory white teeth are actually better than white teeth, because white teeth usually have weak structure.
